On the road again....

I am so excited about this weekend. Tomorrow I am going to West Virginia with Dayne and his family. They have family that live out there. From stories I have heard they are what you really, call hillbillies. It's about a six hour drive and they all live in the same area. To be technical they all live on one hill. That's pretty crazy but it's true. I have met his grandpa already and he was pretty cool.

Hopefully for spring break I'm going to be traveling to California as well. I have never been there and once again I was invited to go with the Bowmans. It's just the fact at how expensive air fare is. Hopefully, I'll be able to scrounge up enough money to go.

This summer is going to be crazy fun! And I can't wait to get started!

Driving

I think that the top two activities to do while you're driving are talking on your cell phone and singing along with the radio. Yes, I have done both. Not at the same time of course. I love to drive. I would love to just hit an open road and get out of this dinky little town. Curvy roads are my favorite, out in the country. I can't wait for summer, so driving is more fun. Less ice and snow.

Extra Credit
Well I looked up what Sadie Hawkins was. It was a day back in the 1930's where women were given the chance to ask men out. This was way out of the ordinary back then because men did all of the asking. This idea debuted in a comic strip called "Little Abner" on November 13, 1937.

The worst day of my life happened last week. I woke up a few minutes last and I needed to take a shower. I jumped out of bed and attempted to walk down my stairs. Well my foot missed the second step all the way at the top and I fell down a bumpy flight of 12 stairs. Well I made it out of my house without anything else happening. But as soon as I sat down in my car, I spilt my hot tea all over me. I was not having a good day. That morning at school the computers didn't work, that made everyone unhappy. By the time third hour came around I was not feeling good at all. If it wasn't for my college test I had that day, I would have gone home. Hindsight is 20/20, let's just say I wish I had gone home. I took my first college test and it was hard for me. After all this I'm in my car ready to go home. I stopped to turn into my fiance's driveway and I get rear ended. Yep, I even was lucky enough to experience my first car accident. Yay! Not. I was a mess after that. I'm laying down on my couch because I had severe whiplash and my mom calls me. I lent my favorite purple shoes to a girl, her dog chewed them up.

That wasn't the best day. Let's just say I'm glad I survived but I will probably fear February 5 for a long time. I'm still here and happy, that's all that matters.

Schools need to redesign classes

School has a lot of things that I would change. Personally, I believe that school shouldn't start as early in the morning. I have read countless studies on how students perform better when they don't have to wake up as early. Starting at like 9:00 or 9:30 would be better. When it comes to classes, I know we are a small school therefore we aren't going to have as many classes but I think that we should have a better variety. For example: more than one foreign language. In my next blog I'm going to tell you about the worst day of my life. Ever!!
